About Me

I’m Ruoni Wang, a full-stack engineer, former YC founder, and AI patent author in Seattle, Washinton. I grew up in Xichang (a small city in Sichuan, China), before moving to Singapore for high school. I later moved to the U.S. to attend Dartmouth College, where I graduated as a Valedictorian with double majors in Computer Science and Economics. Since graduation, I’ve had the pleasure of working at a few tech companies including Meta, Stripe, and Anima Health. I also co-founded an AI support company in 2022 called OpenSight which was backed by Y Combinator.

When I’m not coding, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes. I also enjoy street dancing and interior design. In 2020, I adopted an adorable little kitty named Tofu.
